Ten Years of CES

Paul Reid, Judith Gillespie, Tomás O'Ruairc and Anne O'Connor at the Launch of the CES 10 Year Review

On Friday, December 7th we marked ten years of CES with a special event. We launched a Ten Year Review of our work, and a new organisational strategy.

Robert Watt, Secretary General at the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform launched both documents. This was followed by a panel discussion, on the theme of: ‘Implementing Change – what have we learned over the past ten years?’ Panel members included Anne O’Connor (Deputy Director General Operations, HSE), Paul Reid (Chief Executive, Fingal County Council), Tomás O’Ruairc (Director, Teaching Council) and Judith Gillespie (Policing Authority, formerly of the PSNI).

The panel drew from examples of change initiatives in Ireland and Northern Ireland, and explored learning and key themes relevant to how we implement change in the future.
