The Learning Exchange Network is delivered by a team of experienced and friendly staff from The Centre for Effective Services. We thought you’d like to meet them, so you know who to contact for help or information.
Here we introduce the engine room that is Debbie Broadhurst!
Debbie helps keep the Learning Exchange Network running smoothly behind the scenes. From supporting budget management, taking care of invoices and financial processes to coordinating events, booking venues, managing attendee registrations, updating the grant holders' database and welcoming new members, she provides the operational support that underpins the network's activities. Debbie also manages the network mailbox and contributes to the newsletter, helping to keep members informed, connected and engaged.
Debbie has over 15 years’ experience working across the public, education and health sectors. Along the way, she’s seen how important good governance and strong funding are in helping services make a real difference in people’s lives. Debbie joined CES in 2026.
Debbie holds a degree in Law and Accountancy, along with a Diploma in Accounting, from Queen’s University Belfast.
Outside of work, Debbie enjoys live music events, walking, spending time in the garden and playing in a ukelele group.
