In May, CES, together with Campbell UK and Ireland hosted ‘Using Evidence to Tackle Homelessness – Implications for Policy and Practice’. The event showcased new research on homelessness conducted by a team at Campbell UK and Ireland, funded by the Centre for Homelessness Impact in the UK. CES drew on learning from our work supporting implementation and using evidence.
The event featured perspectives from policy makers in Ireland, including Bob Jordan (National Director of Housing First, Dublin City Council) and Grainia Long (Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive) and was chaired by Sean Holland, Chief Social Work Officer, Department of Health in Northern Ireland.
