RapidInfo4U is a new website, which has been developed to help support healthcare professionals who are new, recently returned or reassigned to practice. The pandemic has seen an increase in the speed and supply of evidence and research. As they work during Covid -19, healthcare professionals may have queries which are clinical, which relate to practice or changes to practice due to the impact of Covid-19. It can be challenging for healthcare professionals to find what they need in a timely manner.

RapidInfo4U provides healthcare professionals with an online repository of existing evidence, but also responds to their individual clinical and practice queries. Healthcare professionals can submit their question through the website and a team of experienced researchers and experienced clinicians will respond, by conducting a rapid evidence review and drawing on extensive clinical experience.

The website was developed by a team in the University of Limerick, headed by Professor Alice Coffey, in the Department of Nursing and Midwifery. CES will be evaluating RapidInfo4U to provide real-time data to make improvements to processes based on feedback from healthcare professionals using this valuable resource.

RapidInfo4U is for healthcare professionals in the fields of Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Nutrition & Dietetics and Physiotherapy.
