In May this year CES hosted the Advisory Board of Campbell UK and Ireland. The Campbell Collaboration is widely known around the world for its work in developing systematic reviews and evidence synthesis, which aim to improve the use of evidence into policy and practice. Campbell UK and Ireland is a national centre of the Campbell Collaboration hosted by the Centre for Evidence and Social Innovation at Queens University, Belfast.
Campbell UK and Ireland aims to increase the production of Campbell reviews, and to promote their use across the UK and Ireland. Their work involves supporting research and training in systematic review methods, and they engage with universities, research organisations, NGOs and government departments.
CES is a member of the Advisory Board. We share a common goal of improving the use of evidence in both policy and practice. Networks and building relationships are an important part of our work. The Advisory Board includes academic and civil society organisations, who will support Campbell UK and Ireland to develop and promote their work.
