Implementation: An Introduction for policymakers and practitioners

This introductory course is suitable for project managers, policy makers, practitioners and service providers who are responsible for rolling out policies or initiatives, either internally or public-facing. This course will help you increase the chances of success and improve impact on the public by applying implementation science to evidence-based practice or policy.  

What will I learn? 

This course is a look at the practical application of implementation. By completing this course participants will be able to: 

• Practically apply appropriate implementation frameworks to positively impact on service delivery by being able to implement and achieve their outcomes quicker.
• Use their knowledge and skills to plan, structure, execute implementation strategies within their organisations 

Upon completion, participants will receive a CES certificate and membership of the Implementation Network of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Session 1 – Introduction to key components of Implementation

Session 2 – Planning your implementation

Session 3 – From pilot to practice  

Session 4 – Practitioner competencies

• 4 online sessions x 3.5 hours
• Dates: commencing 2025 (TBC)

• Course fee: €1000 per participant
• Discount is available to practitioners and service providers from voluntary and community sector organisations.
