Implementation: Applying Implementation in Practice

This advanced course is suitable for those who have completed the Introduction to Implementation training.  

Participants will also have the opportunity to contribute to a Community of Practice to share experiences of their application of the learning.

What will I learn? 

This advanced course will take participants through an Implementation planning process to enable you to apply your learning in a real-world context. By completing this course participants will be able to: 

• Refresh your learning on the core elements of implementation (theory and practice). 
• Apply the appropriate skills and approaches for implementing evidence-informed services and policies. 
• Apply the core concepts in the workplace, leading to improved service outcomes. 
• Disseminate the training more widely across the participant’s organisations. 

Upon completion, participants will receive a CES certificate and be invited to join a multi-sectoral implementation working group within the Implementation Network of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Session 1 – Explore and Prepare  

Session 2 – Plan and Resource  

Session 3 – Implement and Operationalise  

Session 4 – Reviewing and Embedding the Innovation  

Community of Practice – Participants will be invited to contribute to a Community of Practice which will come together for 7 Sessions over a 12 month period. You will join a community of people who are facing similar challenges to you, but from different backgrounds and sectors. You will have the opportunity to continue to learn from the experience of others and share the learning from your implementation journey.

• 4 online sessions x 3.5 hours
• Dates: commencing 2025 (TBC)

• Course fee: €1000 per participant
