Sarah Keane

Sarah Keane, a native of Dublin, joined the board of the Centre for Effective Services because she was particularly drawn to CES’s mission of integrating research, policy, and practice to enhance public services. She brings a unique blend of expertise from her careers in diplomacy and technology. As a diplomat, she represented Ireland at the UN, EU, and in the USA, as well as working on peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland, as Director of the Reconciliation Fund at the Department of Foreign Affairs.

In technology, Sarah led substantial software projects for multinational and Irish companies across a variety of industries. Sarah also founded her own company, DEDICO, to support organisations in solving intersectional problems.

Sarah holds an MA in European Studies from King's College London, a BA in International Relations from Dublin City University, and a Diploma from the prestigious political science university Sciences Po (Institut d'études politiques de Paris). Sarah also holds numerous professional certifications in project management, digital marketing and leadership. Currently, she is studying law at King’s Inns in Dublin, working towards a long held goal to be called to the Bar of Ireland.
