Having previously managed large scale legal projects, Mark joined CES in order to apply his programme management knowledge as a certified PRINCE 2 practitioner to a more impactful setting; wanting to contribute to the work of the community, voluntary and public sectors.
Over the last few years at CES, Mark worked in partnership with the Health Service Executive to implement the new National Adult Palliative Care Policy in Ireland; turning policy actions and recommendations into a co-ordinated, implementable national programme of work. Other projects included the implementation of an interim model of care for Long COVID, and the implementation of the 'Sharing the Vision' Ireland's mental health policy.
Most recently, Mark has been working on various evaluation, research and implementation projects in the community, voluntary, and public health sectors. His work includes the implementation of the National Lottery’s Learning Exchange Network for grant holders in Northern Ireland, and facilitating the implementation of the Social Work Leadership framework for the Northern Ireland Social Care Council.
Mark holds a Certificate in Leader as Coach from the Association of Coaching.
