Caroline is a Project Specialist working in research and evaluation. She has more than 14 years’ experience working in education and health-related research across a range of academic and applied settings. She joined CES with a view to contributing to evaluation of public services in education and health. Her previous experience has focused largely on children and young people and their parents.
Caroline holds a Ph.D. in Psychology from Maynooth University and a B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from University College Dublin. Prior to joining CES, she contributed to the development of an evaluation framework for teachers’ professional learning at the Educational Research Centre; completed a post-doctoral position at Dublin City University focused on parent-adolescent communication and negotiation of self-management responsibilities for adolescent type 1 diabetes; completed a post-doctoral position at University College Dublin in the area of youth mental health; and worked on the evaluation of the Preparing for Life parenting programme.
