Carmel has over 25 years’ experience within the Technology Sector with a varied career which began in Engineering and has included roles in Sales Leadership and Programme Management. Carmel joined CES with the desire to use her extensive experience in project and change management to support how public services are developed, delivered and optimised.
Having led several, large complex international programmes and projects, Carmel brings to CES her focus on simplifying work processes, fostering collaboration, data-driven decision making, future proofing and programme delivery.
Within CES Carmel is a member of the Change and Improvement team where she works in collaboration with the HSE to improve health and social care services. Carmel is currently supporting the Mental Health Capital Planning Programme Team in developing a Mental Health Capital Plan for the next 5-10 years and the Home Support Programme team, as the service transitions to a regulated service environment.
Within the Child and Youth Mental Health Office, Carmel is collaborating with the team on the development of an Integrated Crisis Response pathway.
