Frontline practitioners can often find it challenging to find, understand and apply evidence to their daily work. Over the past few years, CES has been an active member of a partnership called Research Alive, which aims to help teachers make better use of research evidence. Membership of Research Alive includes the Teaching Council and the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA). The Research Alive partnership is pleased to announce our support of Teachers' Research Exchange (T-REX) - a free online resource where teachers can access research, make valuable connections with other teachers and researchers, and access support in engaging with research. It is an online community of practice and a social network for Irish teachers and researchers interested in education. The website is also supported by the National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education.
The service is free for teachers and educational researchers in Ireland and provided by a partnership of four Institutes of Higher Education: Mary Immaculate College, Limerick (lead partner), University of Limerick, National University of Ireland, Galway and Marino Institute of Education.
