CES, a registered charity and non-profit working across Ireland and Northern Ireland, has prepared a tender to appoint a single provider for IT support and maintenance. Its 32 staff work remotely and from serviced offices in Dublin and Belfast, and rely on Microsoft 365, SharePoint and a mix of laptops and smartphones.
CES seeks a dependable, accountable ICT service provider covering helpdesk and incident response, device and cloud management, security, backup and disaster recovery, with clear documentation and reporting.
The tender seeks to strengthen CES's cyber protection and data governance, including the Microsoft 365 Business Premium and Intune upgrade, backup testing and security reviews. This protects the sensitive data CES handles on behalf of its partners and stakeholders.
Running a structured, competitive process lets CES evaluate bids openly against set criteria, including technical approach, capability, team and cost and value for money. That helps CES use its resources responsibly in line with best practice in Charity Governance.
