Tom Malone is an Accountant and Auditor by background with specific expertise in the areas of Governance, Finance and Risk Management.
Tom’s current role is Assistant National Director of Internal Audit with the HSE.
Prior to joining the HSE, Tom’s experience includes senior roles with the Charities Regulator as Head of Compliance and Enforcement and subsequently Director of Regulation. He also spend 10 years in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General conducting audits and Value for Money Examinations.
He has an interest in the Charities Sector and was previously a member of the Charities SORP Committee and is a current Trustee of PayPal Giving Fund Ireland.
He is a Fellow of the ACCA, a member of Institute of Internal Auditors and holds an MSc in Strategic Management.
