Taking care of your data

What does a Data Curator do, and how can data curation help policymakers, practitioners and researchers to interpret and use research data? What do organisations and researchers need to think about when they are archiving research data?

These are some of the questions explored in this short podcast with Ruth Geraghty, data curator with the Children’s Research Network. Ruth speaks to Niamh Farren from CES about her work on the Prevention and Early Intervention Research Initiative, a project which involves archiving data from investment by philanthropy and government in 52 programmes and services for children and young people across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
