Towards a Parenting Strategy: An All Island Symposium

Over 150 policy-makers, practitioners and researchers in services for children and families attended this all island event organised by the Supporting Parents in their Parenting Role Special Interest Group. The symposium outlined why effective parenting is so important and set out the basis on which a strategic plan could be developed that will enable Ireland to become leaders in valuing and supporting parents in their parenting role.
