Research Alive Conference
Some of the most important and interesting research findings are often inaccessible to interested teachers, parents and others. The Research Alive conference on 11 May 2013 is part of a collaboration involving CES, National Council for Curriculum and Assessment and The Teaching Council which aims to increase teachers’ access to evidence of what works in teaching and learning.
As part of the collaboration, a survey was circulated to teachers on the Teaching Council Register to gather information on teachers’ experience of; engagement with; and access to educational research. Over 4000 teachers responded and initial findings were outlined at the Research Alive conference.
All presentations and videos from the conference can be found on the NCCA website.View Conference Website →
