Charlotte is a recent graduate of International Relations (Msci) at the University of Nottingham. Research interests include policy related to illegal and legal drugs, which was the subject of her master’s dissertation. She has been involved with the Student’s for Sensible Drug Policy group, helping to disseminate information about safer drug usage. International development is another keen interest. Charlotte spent one year studying in Malaysia as part of her degree where she was granted the opportunity to work with the UNHCR which involved creating new policies to improve the livelihoods of refugees in Malaysia. During her time in South East Asia Charlotte volunteered with a charity which focused on improving the livelihoods of single mothers in Vietnam.
At CES, Charlotte is working with the Impact of Alcohol Programme and the Reaching Out and Supporting Families programme. She is also working on some of the elements of Goal which includes the Children and Young People’s strategy and the Grade 3 Leadership Programme. She is also researching area based systems change.
