Anne-Marie O’RiordanSenior Researcher, ABC Programme


Anne-Marie is a Senior Researcher, working on the CES-led national evaluation of the Area Based Childhood (ABC) Programme. Her areas of expertise include project design and management; programme monitoring and evaluation; collecting, collating and analysing data using quantitative and qualitative methods; and disseminating research and evaluation findings.

Prior to joining CES, she led value for money evaluations of education and children’s services programmes run by the UK government on behalf of the UK National Audit Office. She has also managed an academic research project centred on monitoring and evaluating the impact of civil society projects in developing countries, and has conducted socio-economic research for a Kenyan environment and health charity. Anne-Marie holds a BSc. (Hons) in International Development and Food Policy from University College Cork and an MSc. in Governance and Ethics from University College London.
